ABOUT US
Meet Brian Wright
Owner of Aquamosis
Brian Wright founded Aquamosis with a straightforward goal: to find a better way to care for Arizona’s pools without the waste of traditional draining. Having worked in pool maintenance and conservation research since 2015, Brian became deeply interested in how technology could solve the unique challenges desert pool owners face.
His journey into water purification was driven by a genuine concern for Arizona’s water scarcity. After years of exploring filtration methods, he discovered the Puripool™ Process—a specialized Reverse Osmosis (RO) system that recycles water rather than wasting it. For Brian, this was the missing piece to helping local homeowners maintain healthy, pristine pools while honoring the state’s commitment to water conservation.
A Focus on Science and Conservation
Rather than relying on the traditional “drain and refill” method—which can be hard on both the environment and a pool’s structural integrity—Brian focused his efforts on mastering mobile RO technology. He understands that in the Phoenix heat, exposing a pool’s interior finish to the sun can lead to costly damage like cracking or “plaster popping.”
His approach is rooted in the science of water chemistry. By focusing on lowering Calcium Hardness and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) through filtration, he helps homeowners extend the life of their pool water and their investment.
Areas of Daily Focus:
Water Recovery: Utilizing mobile RO units to filter pool water to a quality that often surpasses local tap water standards.
Surface Preservation: Protecting plaster, pebble, and quartz finishes by keeping pools full during the extreme Arizona summers.
Chemical Precision: Reducing the buildup of cyanuric acid and salts that cause cloudiness and scaling, all without a complete drain.
Rooted in the Arizona Community
Brian’s philosophy is built on education and “hassle-free” service. He believes that when pool owners understand the why behind water chemistry, they can make better decisions for their homes and the environment. Today, he and the Aquamosis team serve over 20 municipalities across the Valley, from Surprise and Buckeye to Scottsdale and Mesa.
For Brian, Aquamosis is more than a business; it’s a way to contribute to a sustainable future for the Phoenix metropolitan area. He remains hands-on, constantly refining the purification process and ensuring that every client receives a sustainable, healthy aquatic environment.

FAQS ABOUT AQUAMOSIS
Why was Aquamosis started?
Aquamosis was founded out of a growing concern for water conservation in Arizona. After years of researching alternatives to draining pools, the team discovered reverse osmosis as a more sustainable solution and committed to bringing that technology to local pool owners.
What makes Aquamosis different from other pool companies?
Aquamosis focuses specifically on water purification using reverse osmosis rather than traditional drain-and-refill methods. Their mobile filtration system allows them to clean and restore pool water while conserving water and protecting pool surfaces.
How long has Aquamosis been working with pool water recycling?
Aquamosis has been researching and developing water-saving solutions for years, beginning their work around 2015 when they discovered there were reverse osmosis systems for swimming pools and decided to move forward with the Puripool process in 2023.
Why is pool water recycling important in Arizona?
In desert climates like Arizona, water is a limited resource. Pool water recycling helps conserve thousands of gallons of water while maintaining clean, balanced pool conditions—making it a more responsible and practical solution for homeowners and commercial properties.
Is Aquamosis focused on residential or commercial pools?
Aquamosis provides reverse osmosis pool water purification for both residential and commercial pools, offering a flexible solution for homeowners, property managers, and businesses across the Phoenix metro area.
